Named after the year the vegetarian society formed, 1847 serves modern dishes across four menus; á la carte, taster, Sunday lunch and express lunch.  Alongside our food, we serve cocktails, wines, beers and spirits.

Meet Damien

I opened 1847 with one aim, to push the boundaries of vegetarian food. That was in 2011 with just a Head Chef and me working ‘front of house’.
